First one had no trouble with DFI for years; second one I bought refurbished and DFI went in 2 months. I replaced the DFI on first one, that lasted only 2 months. If Whisker does not get on top of this, they will lose their audience.My LR4 was doing the same thing, giving sensor faults randomly. I looked up under and into the sensor with the light on my phone, and there were a couple of cat hairs coming in front of the sensor. Being that close to the sensor could cause it to read a fault, even something as small as a cat hair.
