Generally it's waste of the time to look specifically for certain enemy type, because even if they do spawn more in some areas, their spawns are still quit rare. You can have more luck by discovering a camp and waiting for it to spawn a patrol. For example one of my last games had a forest named "forest of living trees" or something similar..
